Dear Diary,

I am pleased to make acquaintance with one such as you. It is pleasurable to beat little buttons with the alphabet on them and see words appear on the smooth surface that is on the box before me. I feel very happy.

Today, I had prata with fish curry for breakfast, coconut rice and thosai with mutton for lunch, and I do not know what for dinner, because I am not blessed with clairvoyance. Ha! Ha! I made joke.

I want to be watching Channel Zee but Lalitha, my neighbour, who is very pretty lady and have much dowry, says it is not to be watched unless for want of looking at the trashy Mumbai saithan women that do not wear sarees and try to look like the white women of America.

Farewell, my diary, for Manu my monkey is fatigued and cannot run the generator to power this contraption any longer. By the many arms of Vishnu I bid you good day and Varnakkum.
